SPITEX BERN’s night duty provides peace of mind, security, support and relief in difficult situations to customers as well as family and friends who provide care to their loved ones during the night (10 pm to 7 am). This guarantees around the clock nursing care, enabling an earlier discharge from hospital, while providing relief to family members and other care providers.

| The offer is oriented to people who want to ensure that their relatives are well cared for at home during the night. The people performing bedside duty do not provide nursing services. If necessary, the nurse on night duty can be called.

Financing All nursing care and support provided at night is invoiced at the usual Spitex nursing rates without a night-based surcharge. Health insurance funds will only cover nursing care prescribed by a doctor. | Financing Bedside duty is not covered by health insurance funds. |
